Mine, Will's and Kane's pitches. The ending is a technical mishap please ignore!

Pitch1:
we pitched 2 ideas to the group one was about an ex SAS soldier, who has in the past on a mission that went wrong killed innocent people. The first 2 mins of the film will consist of flashbacks to the slaughtering of the innocent people. a few weeks pass and shows his family and him being happy. then on a tv the news will be shown reporting deaths of ex SAS soldiers. he begins to panic and prepare for what is to come. target audience 15+ and action fans
feedback:
one problem that occurred was the setting being in a sunny place the problem with this was that we are in the winter when we film so a sunny day will be hard to get.
The amount of people were also a problem simply because we probably not be able to gather enough actors.
However the group liked the flashback idea because it gives a background to the main character.
overall this idea needed more thinking and more time in which we did not have.

Pitch2:

This idea was a mystery action, a private assassin is killing people and a detective is on the job to find him. the first 2 mins of the film will start with a press confrance about severall killings. it would fade out with his voice still going in the back ground. it will fade to a man walking down a street in black and white, meeting another man. there will be close ups and diologe followed by a death of one of the men. it will then switch to a sniper on a roof top preparing to kill the final man. he will pull the trigger and will go to black and the films title.
feedback:
more thoughts of it being too much to fit into 2 mins.
the group liked the idea of the overlap of the press and the man walking down the street.
the idea of the point of the killer has now been scraped because of it being too complicated.

Results:
the group overall agreed with idea 2 the one with the detective.
since this we have gone with the detective idea.
