Analysis of an ex students opening of a movie

The opening scene consists of conventions; they show the production name (madness production), director, produced by, who is being starred. The establishing shots consists of photos of what is thought to be the main protagonists and is confirmed with the camera being on the person in real life. The sound consists of a ticking clock creating suspense, then a deep low sound to create more suspense this increases with volume. the actor's arm appears into view in a close up shot of a door handle the arm moves slowly and gradually. They use zooms mid shot to close up to a bench to reveal a memory flashback. It then it moves to a low key lighting scene walking up some stairs again with eerie music and slow movements. The music becomes very loud when the woman without the face is first scene. The flickering light is a good idea this is used so the woman can appear and disappear with less confusion and keeps the audience interested. There are flashbacks added to the clip to add a backdrop to the main protagonist this has the title ghosted over the top letter by letter spelling Paranoia, finally revealing the title in full. This film opening i think is good in the sense of creating suspense. the down fall of this could be the constant slow movement when i don't think it is needed.
